Junior Development

Royal Hobart Golf Club has a strong commitment to the development of junior players and is very enthusiastic about the Junior Golf Development Program.

 

     

Objectives of the program are:       

  • Encouraging girls and boys to play golf.
  • Teaching golf techniques, etiquette and developing skills.
  • Fostering enjoyment of the game.
  • Identifying talent and developing further skills.
  • Establishing a pathway for talented/interested juniors to become members of the Club.

Junior Development Clinics

  Our experienced junior coaching team conduct junior clinics for girls and boys (under 18 years) Saturdays at 3.00pm (PumpGolf) and (MYGolf) commencement date TBA(Click logos for more information)

 

Junior Membership

Club membership is available for cadets (under 14 years) and juniors (14-17 years).  For further information please contact our Club Administration staff on (03) 62 486161 or email admin@rhgc.com.au.

Junior Scholarships

Each year (depending on number of entries) four golfing scholarships will be awarded to selected juniors (two junior members from Royal Hobart and two junior members from affiliated Southern Tasmanian Golf Clubs).  Application forms will be available in April each year at Royal Hobart Golf Club or at participating affiliated Southern Tasmanian Golf Clubs.
